The course is suited to the use of golf carts, and players are welcome to use our extensive training facilities with putting greens, a driving range with grass pitches, as well as separate areas for wedge and bunker games.

Norwegian Golf Championships 2021
Miklagard has has been given the honour of hosting the Norwegian Golf Championships in 2021. The tournament begins on August 5th and ends with the final on August 8st. We look forward to arranging a memorable event together with Miklagard Golf Club. Book your stay during the NM with us and enjoy witnessing the country’s finest players’ achievements at close quarters from our outdoor seating. Hole 18 is adjacent to the hotel and many of our rooms also have balconies with stunning views of the golf course.

Here are answers to the most common questions about Miklagard golf course
Miklagard Golf is an 18-hole championship course. To book a start time through the hotel, you must be a resident guest.
To be able to play on this fine course, you must have taken the introductory course ‘First Steps in Golf’ or equivalent, hold a Green Card, and be a member of a Norwegian or foreign club.
The course is open from 7 a.m. — 9 p.m. every day.
In 2020, Miklagard will open a completely new training area with a new driving range, putting green and close-range play.
If you are a group wishing to stay at the hotel to play a tournament, we can offer Miklagard Golf Club’s own tournament concept. Contact booking@miklagard.no for a tailor-made offer.
Miklagard Golf Club offers rental of golf carts and golf sets. Pro lessons can be ordered in advance, and as one of few courses in Europe, Miklagard GK can offer its own clubmaker who can tailor your clubs to your playing style. Any additional equipment you might need is available from our pro shop, while out of season, you can also rent a place in Miklagard Golf Club’s modern golf simulator.
